PHOTOGRAPHS NEEDED: The Program Committee for the Fifth Annual I*EARN
Conference is planning the design of a poster for distribution in
Chattanooga in July. If you have photographs of I*EARN teachers and
students that could be used on the poster, please send them immediately by
land mail to arrive by June 1 to I*EARN-US, 475 Riverside Drive, Room 540,
New York, NY 10115. USA.

VIDEOTAPES NEEDED: Hundreds of teachers and students come together in
Chattanooga in person. Others around the network will be linked via the
Internet and video-conferencing during the event. We would like to include
others as well--through videotapes. At the opening of the Conference, we
would like to show a videotape of brief "Hello" messages from students and
teachers around the world. We would love to received a 30 second - 1
minute video of your students/teachers smiling and saying, for example,
"We greet you from Gymnasium # 38 in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan" (and
anything else you might want to include). Please send these videotapes to
the I*EARN-USA office by June 1, 1998 so we can edit them all together.
NTSC format is preferred, but PAL is also ok. I*EARN-US, 475 Riverside

is to create a space on the network to form a team of teachers and
students engaging in ongoing reflection and conversation. See
