I*EARN POSTER: The conference program committee is planning the design of
a poster for distribution in Chattanooga in July. We need your help!

-PHOTOGRAPHS NEEDED: If you have photographs of I*EARN teachers and
students that could be used on the poster, please send them immediately by
land mail to arrive by June 1 to I*EARN-US, 475 Riverside Drive, Room 540,
New York, NY 10115. USA.

-TRANSLATIONS NEEDED: We want to translate the phrase, "Linking
Communities to Make a Difference in the World" into as many languages as
possible for the poster. If you can help, please send a note to
ljobson@iearn.org no later than June 1 with the name of the language and
an exact translation of this phrase.

-VIDEOTAPES NEEDED: Hundreds of teachers and students will come together
in Chattanooga in person. Others around the network will be linked via the
Internet and video-conferencing during the event. We would like to include
others as well--through videotapes. At the opening of the Conference, we
would like to show a videotape of brief "Hello" messages from students and
teachers around the world. We would love to received a 30 second - 1
minute video of your students/teachers smiling and saying, for example,
"We greet you from Gymnasium # 38 in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Kazakhstan" (and
anything else you might want to include). Please send these videotapes to
the I*EARN-USA office by June 1, 1998 so we can edit them all together.
NTSC format is preferred, but PAL is also ok. I*EARN-US, 475 Riverside
Drive, Room 540, New York, NY 10115. USA. A wonderful tape arrived today
from St. Paul's Grammar School in Australia, and we look forward to
including more that arrive in the few weeks!
