YOUTH REPRESENTATION ON THE I*EARN ASSEMBLY: Youth are currently voting to
chose a youth representative for the I*EARN Assembly. To vote see the
topic "Election Notice for Youth Representative" on iearn.youth until
December 25th.
LAWS OF LIFE ESSAY PROJECT: I*EARN-USA and the John Templeton Foundation
are sponsoring this international essay project which invites students to
reflect on and write about the values that have helped shape their
lives.Teacher's Guides are available in English, Russian, Hindi, Chinese
and Spanish. You are invited to submit essays up to May 31, 1999. For more

NATIONAL FLAGS AND EMBLEMS: The aim of this project is to learn more about
the 52 countries in I*EARN by creating a Web page, containing information
about the meaning of the colours and symbols used in Flags and National
