ATTENTION I*EARN AUSTRALIAN TERACHERS (who are accessing the I*EARN
conferences through Pegasus): It has been difficult for us to locate all
of you with Pegasus accounts. There is a new APC node in Australia (c2o)
to which the conferences will be moving within two months. The Pegasus
conferences will be closed some time after that. If you have questions or
would like to be contacted when these changes are taking place contact Bob
Carter iearnoz@peg.apc.org. There will be significant changes occurring
in the operation of I*EARN 
Australia and membership arrangements. We see a very bright future for
I*EARN Australia during 1999.

NATIONAL HERO PROJECT: This is a project for everyone who has a hero.
There is only one rule - the hero has to be from your country! Your
National hero can be a singer, painter or someone from your country's
history or legend. Outcomes: a project, poem, song, video or even web

SANT JORDI PROJECT: A project with 5 activities: literary composition, ST
Jordi Legend, virtual library (you can propose a book which you have

STOVE PROJECT: I*EARN participants in Guatemala propose a project to bring
stoves to families in their communities. "You can do small fundraisers to
sponsor a stove for as many families as you want. The cost for a simple
two burner stove is $75.00. We have access to a digital camera so we can
send all those who participate a photo of a family with a new stove." See
