I*EARN News Flashes!
ART/DRAMA CAMP IN SLOVAKIA: The students of Gymnazium SNV will be hosting
the ST.ART Art and Drama Camp from the 21st to 24th of June, with
participants from Slovakia and Hungary. The event will culminate in an
"art gallery" opening, and a series of drama performances. In addition to
creative activities, the students will also spend one morning preparing a
space in the theater building in which a youth club/cultural center will

CONGRATULATIONS: Planet Friendship was recognized at the Global School
Network-Cyber Fair competition where it won the second place among 250
schools all over the World.
NEWS FROM NOVOSIBIRSK, RUSSIA: A teacher AT School 130, Natalya Zaikina,
has won an Award for Excellence in Teaching at ACCELS, and is one of 30
Russian teachers to go to the US for seven weeks, summer courses. See

WORKSHOP IN MACEDONIA: The Second National I*EARN workshop in 1999 was
held in Bitola, May, 16-18. Forth in this academic year 1998/99, and
I*EARN in Macedonia's biggest
workshop yet, to prepare for the end of this academic year, and for
participation in I*EARN events and plan for the next year/s.
