FIRST I*EARN WORKSHOP IN BOSNIA AND HARCEGOVINA. This Saturday,
March 25, Bosnian teachers, as well as  teachers from Slovenia
and Serbia,  will meet in Sarajevo. The workshop is organized
by Alma Zecevic at the Teachers  School in Sarajevo. Send

THE BULLYING PROJECT http://www.bullying.org Submissions of
writing and images about the way children perceive the issues
of bullying and teasing are now being accepted to be posted and
shared. Please send submissions to William Belsey, The Bullying
Project Coordinator at bill@iearn-canada.org This is a
project of IEARN-Canada http://www.iearn-canada.org.

"CELEBRATING OUR WOMEN." A new project on I*EARN that can be
viewed at  iearn.women. Please add your voice by submitting

conference is officially open. 

KINDERGARTEN TEACHERS.  I am trying to start a database/website
for Kindergarten teachers with ideas for Art, Music, Language

ME AND MY PET PROJECT.  Do you have a pet, or would you like to
have one?  Write about it and share your story with students in

STAR OF HOPE PROJECT.  In China, over 2,000,000 rural students
cannot go to school unless they have financial assistance.
Help students in rural China to return to school. We encourage

A VISION POETRY ANTHOLOGY.  Read and respond to recent

discussion started by a group of eighth graders at  Adma

CHAPBOOKS PUBLISHING OPPORTUNITY FOR I*EARN CLASSROOMS. A way 
for additional I*EARN collaborative project work to be
published in book form!!  This program awards small grants to
primary and secondary school teachers to publish student
writing in a paperback book through "Chapbooks.com." These
grants of $160 cover the production and shipping costs (within
the U.S.) for 30 copies of a short book.  The grants are
available to teachers from any country. There is a good chance
you will get the grant if you apply, but the DEADLINE IS APRIL
15, 2000. For more information, send a blank message to
