CONGRATULATIONS TO CLASSICAL SCHOOL #3 IN NOVOSIBIRSK, RUSSIA!
The school's international project activity was awarded by the
VIII International Siberian Fair, dedicated to the problems of
education, culture and spiritual inheritance. The Jury awarded
its highest prize,the Golden Medal of the Siberian Fair, to
Classical School #3. Marina Kosinova marina@che.nsk.su,
I*EARN coordinator at the school writes, "We are thankful to
all our friends on the Global Art Projects for creative
cooperation, friendly interest and professional support."
INTELLECTUAL STUDENT TOURNAMENT HELD IN THE UKRAINE. At
School#1 in Lugansk, Ukraine. The tournament involved more
than 500 school students from more than 9 towns, including

THE BULLYING PROJECT. Submissions of writing and images about
the way children perceive the issues of bullying and teasing
are now being accepted to be posted and shared. The project
has been endorsed by the Jefferson County Public School Board
in Golden, Colorado (school board for Columbine High School)
as a Web resource they are featuring to the students, teachers

CYCLING SIBERIA PROJECT. Two Australian young people, Tim Cope

"TELL ME A STORY" CALL FOR QUILT BLOCKS. Students create a
patchwork square that represents their interpretation of a
traditional folktale in their country. Send a quilt block 30cm
X 30 cm. (12 inches X 12 inches). Please allow 38mm (1.5

A VISION POETRY ANTHOLOGY TO BE FACILITATED BY THE UNIVERSAL
SCHOOL OF LEBANON! Nick Goranov from the American College of
Sofia in Bulgaria writes, "After 3 years of having the
wonderful experience of running the "A Vision" project, our
team decided that other people should have the incredible
chance to feel the experience too. That is why, effective May
1, 2000, the "A Vision" project will officially be guided by
Eliane Metni melo@cyberia.net.lb and her students at the
Universal School of Lebanon! Nick also writes, "Last year we
had trouble getting out the 1999 issue of the magazine, so that
is why we decided to combine the 1999 and 2000 issues into one.
